Describe a person who inspired you to do something

To be perfectly honest, I’ve been quite lucky to cross paths with several inspiring people in my life, but the one who immediately springs to mind is my older cousin, David. He’s incredibly driven, always burning the midnight oil to achieve his goals. I’ve known him literally my whole life since we grew up in the same neighborhood. He’s about five years older than me, so I’ve always kind of looked up to him like an older brother figure. Anyway, a few years ago, I was feeling completely stuck in a rut with my career. I was working a comfortable but mind-numbingly boring administrative job, and I’d been toying with the idea of learning how to code, but I just kept putting it off. David, on the other hand, had completely entirely reinvented himself. He had quit a stable accounting job to start his own digital agency from scratch. When we met up for coffee one afternoon, he didn’t just give me the usual clichés about "following my dreams." Instead, he gave me a reality check. He practically dared me to dedicate just one hour a day to programming for a month. Seeing his sheer enthusiasm and the fact that he essentially built a business out of thin air gave me that necessary push. Looking back, I felt a mix of pure terror and exhilaration. At first, the learning curve was steep, and I often felt out of my depth. But seeing how his calculated risk paid off made me realize that staying in my comfort zone was actually the bigger risk. If it weren't for his candid advice that day, I honestly doubt I would be working in tech today.
